PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
FORMLABS — RMA Program Manager
Aug 2022 – Present
• Built and scaled the RMA refurbishment program from the ground up as the department’s first hire — building a
small team of technicians processing approximately 300 machines per year, with an average five-figure value.
• Deliver seven-figure annual net savings by refurbishing and returning machines to customers rather than shipping
replacements — sustaining a 99%+ repair rate on all units.
• Manage a six-figure annual operations budget, across over a dozen active domestic and international vendors.
• Lead all team management functions: hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, safety training, and operational
training.
• Drive continuous process improvement: reduced Mean Time to Repair by 10% in Year 1, 7% in Year 2, and 3.6% in Year
3; lowered operational costs 2–5% annually; reduced company-wide RMA rates by 9% over three years through
proactive service support.
• Maintain 99%+ quarterly customer satisfaction scores and 100% inventory accuracy across all tracked parts and stock.
• Enforce a rigorous quality standard: every refurbished machine is fully calibrated with factory equipment, scored on 36
dimensional measurements to ±300 microns, and cleared through a 50-point cosmetic inspection before shipment.
• Developed and deployed Refurb Inventory Manager — a custom JavaScript/React inventory management application
used daily by the team, supporting barcode/camera scanning, filtering, search, and bulk CSV import/export. Maintained
100% inventory accuracy since launch.
• Designed and implemented an in-house AI agent (local Ollama instance integrated with OpenClaw) connecting all SOPs,
technical documentation, and inventory data — enabling technicians to query procedures, locate parts, and assist in
troubleshooting in real time. Initiative originated from personal experimentation and was adopted across the full team.
• Authored the majority of departmental SOPs, troubleshooting flowcharts, onboarding materials, and training
documentation.
• Manage sourcing, negotiation, and ongoing vendor relationships — including identifying and securing cost-effective local alternatives to
overseas packaging sources.
• Serve as a cross-functional technical resource for Engineering, R&D, Hardware Reliability, and Customer Support —
identifying product failure trends, contributing to future product design reviews, and resolving escalated Jira tickets
before they result in additional RMAs.
• Maintain Formlabs in-house print farm of over 200 machines producing sample parts as well as customer orders.
• Deployed directly to Tier 1 customer sites when field issues require the highest-level technical intervention.
FORMLABS — Engineering and Maintenance Technician
Jun 2025 – Dec 2025
Temporarily embedded with the Engineering and Maintenance Team at Formlabs Resin Production Facility to spearhead the
move and buildout of both the Refurbishment Center and our in-house Print Farm of over 200 machines, as well as support plant
engineering and maintenance activities during project downtime.
• Project Management: Planned and managed the facility move and build-out logistics for the refurbishment center and
print farm.
• Contractor Coordination: Coordinated on-site tasks and schedules with outside contractors.
• Bulk Systems & Fluid Handling: Assisted the build-out, installation, repair, and maintenance of bulk resin storage
systems, pumping systems, and resin pumps.
• Automation & Packaging Equipment: Installed, repaired, and maintained automated capping machines, conveyor
systems, computer-vision systems, flow-pack/heat sealers, and automatic box assembly machinery.
• Infrastructure & Utilities: Installed networking infrastructure, pneumatic systems, and nitrogen systems.
• Plant Maintenance: Participated in daily plant engineering tasks and preventative maintenance routines.
JACOBS TECHNOLOGY — Lead Dynamometer Technician
Apr 2014 – Aug 2022
• Served as Wing Lead for 5 years, directing 5–14 technicians across a dedicated wing of Ford’s dynamometer laboratory
• Functioned as a liaison between engineers and technicians, translating complex test requirements into executable tasks
and performing preliminary QC review of first-pass results before data submission.
• Responsible for wing safety: ensured all technicians maintained current safety certifications and proper PPE
compliance.
• Prepared, instrumented, installed, and tested engines and powertrains using AC, DC, inductive, and chassis
dynamometers.
• Executed emissions, catalyst development, air/fuel mapping, durability, and extreme environment simulation programs
using PUMA, INCA, ATI, ADACS, CAS, MATLAB, LabView, and a number of proprietary software tools.
• Installed and calibrated optical sensors, hall effect sensors, pressure transducers, flow-meters, load cells, smoke meters,
soot meters, thermocouples, and real-time X-ray fluid density analyzers; built and modified engine wiring harnesses.
• Operated and maintained Horiba and AVL gas analyzer systems; performed light PLC/controls tuning.
• Recognized for improving testing methods and overall lab productivity.
FOOD SERVICE LEADERSHIP — Kitchen / Crew Lead
2009 – 2014
